Powder puff contest to return in May

Ready. Set. Hut. The annual Powder Puff Football game will be played on May 12. Powder Puff at SHS was started three years ago by former teacher Mrs. Jaclyn McCoy as a fundraiser for prom. After Mrs. McCoy moved to Maplewood High School, it was uncertain if the game would continue. This year, the game is being organized by senior Malorie Levis, with Mrs. McCoy providing assistance. Levis said, “I’m excited that Mrs. McCoy was willing to help us. I was scared that we wouldn’t be able to have it this year.” Any junior or senior girl who is interested needs to see Malorie Levis by Friday, April 20 to sign up and order a shirt. Shirts are $10, and the money is due by Friday.
