Barbershop quartet surprises unsuspecting Cornell
Hearts are going wild and love is in the air. This Feb. 14, better known as Valentine’s Day, has couples professing their love in creative ways. But for one Saegertown staffer, the love came from her club: Key Club. When Mrs. Pam Cornell, learning support aide and Key Club adviser, was holding the weekly Key Club meeting, four dapper gentlemen in tuxedos walked in and gathered around her desk. They then proceeded to harmoniously sing a Valentine’s Day tune. “I was absolutely delighted. I was also very happy that the kids got to see it because a lot of them have never seen a barbershop quartet perform before,” said Cornell.
