Today at noon, four wrestlers left for the regional competition at Sharon High School. Cody S. (130), Sean B. (135), Josh T. (189), and Branden S. (285) will take the mat tonight to try to move on to tomorrow and ultimately the PIAA State Finals in Hershey next week.

Senior Cody S. reached the 100 win milestone in his last match of the District 10 Tournament with his win over a Sharpsville High School wrestler. There have only been 16 wrestlers who have reached that feat in school history including Cody S. and senior Sean B. who reached 100 at the beginning of the season.

Branden S. broke the all-time single season pin record at Districts last week with a double-overtime pin over Union City’s Jared Burger. He currently has 26 pins this season and is looking to add to that total at the regional competition tonight.
