Heads spin for ‘Bubble Spinner’
![]()
Some of you may have heard of a little game called Bubble Spinner, to others it may just sound like another girly game. When 115 senior high students were polled, fifty percent had no idea what it was. There was a trend, though. The lower the grade, the more people who did not know about the game. So the Panther Press is here to inform you about what may be the next big thing. According to senior Dylan L.,”It’s a religion in some places.” The game is very simple: shoot a colored bubble at two or more bubbles of the same color and those bubbles explode. The twist that makes it so addicting is that the bubbles are on a rotating axis, so the whole mass of bubbles moves depending on how you hit the mass of balls. The object is to clear all the balls, and when you do, a new set comes out. But now every bubble that explodes is worth two points and so on. Once a bubble hits the border, the game is over. The person who supposedly discovered this game and shared it with the seniors is Alexanne S. During the elections for the homecoming king and queen, she found it on addicting games.com “What’s Hot” category. From there,it spread like wildfire. Even some of the teachers are getting into it. One teacher, who wanted to be kept anonymous, is an avid player and has a mind boggling high score of 4,753. Facebook even has it as an application on their website. So if you find yourself bored and a computer is nearby, hit the link below to try the game that is sweeping the Internet.
